Over his career, Mr. Hall has represented clients in various state and federal courts in the United States, including Arizona, Alabama, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan and Rhode Island.  Mr. Hall has also prosecuted and defended class action cases.

Representative Cases:

Minnick v. Automotive Creation, Inc. – Represented a car wash business in a class action lawsuit where the plaintiff brought a class action and claimed the vacation policy was illegal.  The case was dismissed on a demurrer and later affirmed on appeal in a published decision.

Cruz v. Expert Automotive Reconditioning, Inc. – Represented an automotive repair company in a disability discrimination case.  The plaintiff was an employee who witnessed the death of his supervisor and suffered mental damages as result.  Plaintiff was later terminated and sued.  After some discovery, the case resolved for a nominal amount.

San Diego Private Bank v. Kubicka, et al.  – Represented an automotive appraisal company in a lawsuit.  A lender loaned money to a defendant and was collateralized by two classic cars.  When the cars were “clones,” the bank sued the appraisal company for fraud.  The case was tried to a jury, and the appraisal company obtained a defense verdict.

McDonagh v Bergan – Represented a physician who was being sued in Illinois federal court for defamation and interference with contract.  The plaintiff claimed the defendant physician misrepresented the validity of a treatment for varicose veins.  The complaint was dismissed on the first motion to dismiss.
