Cynthia L. Marks

Cynthia Marks is a partner of Carlsbad Law Group, LLP focusing her law practice on business and real estate litigation, personal injury and insurance matters.

Ms. Marks is also experienced in handling products liability and premises liability matters, as well as commercial transactions.  Ms. Marks has significant experience in state and federal courts, and complex and multi-district litigation.  She has represented businesses, manufacturers, insurers, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and individuals in pursuit or defense of claims.  Ms. Marks is a skilled strategist and advocate with substantial mediation, arbitration, and trial experience.  She is committed to providing her clients with professional excellence and creative solutions for dispute resolution which further their personal and business objectives.

Ms. Marks obtained a B.B.A. degree with majors in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1985.  She earned her J.D. from California Western School of Law in 1988. 

Ms. Marks is a member of the State Bar of California, New York and the District of Columbia.  She is admitted to practice in all of the State Courts of California and before the U.S. District Courts in California, for the Southern District, Central District, Eastern District, and Northern District.  She is also a California Notary.

Ms. Marks has served on the Board of the Del Mar American Little League and continues to actively volunteer with competitive sports teams and school activities.  She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, and playing tennis.
